Songsurgeon is a great program, especially for singers that use background tracks. You can change pitch, tempo and use the 32 channel equalizer to customize the sound specifically for optimum playback on your sound system. The program has a ripper and a batch converter that lets you covert a number of tracks from one format to another without having to do them one at a time. Another feature, you can change pitch for just one section of a track. I have one track that I would have to start at one volume and then manually reduce the volume later because it got to loud. A real problem if I was by myself but with Songsurgeon I was able to increase the volume in that section without changing the volume in the rest of the track. I also like the fact that there is a feature I can use to score music and print it out. All in all, this is an awesome program and I highly recommend it!
